CNC Machining the most common process for metal prototyping, opaque & clear plastic parts machining. when different specific material are required, material options range from Aluminum, Magnesium, Brass, Copper, to ABS, PC, PMMA, PA, POM, PEI, PEEK, Ceramic CNC prototyping includes lathing, turning, milling and EDM.
Vacuum casting known as Urethane casting, polyurethane casting or RTV, is ideal for additive manufacturing and short-run production. It is a cost effective way to make pre-marketing trial production in small quantities. Material properties though all liquid urethane, can be rigid plastic and flexible plastic from 15 shore A to 90 Shore D.

Stereolithography (SLA) is the process to convert the liquid resin into solid Plastic. Material is ABS like Resin in both opaque and clear. Most of the SLA parts are used for fitting or functional prototypes master patterns. Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), very similar to the SLA process, is a kind of old 3d printing process to make the 3D objects with plastic powders or metal powders getting the Platic or metal parts
Sheet metal bending when used for Prototypes and low volume production is a flexible process
solutions for big and small Housings, enclosures and cabinets. By using manufacture processes such as bending, laser cutting, punches, welding, riveting and other prototyping process, material can be soft light metal such as Aluminum 5052 and copper, and then hard metal such as stainless steel in AISI 300 series.
Compression molding is an old forming process for soft silicone parts, soft PVC parts and rubber parts. This process is applied in varieties areas, Parts such as the soft pipe for cars, keypad for consumer products , protected enclusures for electronic parts, lens cover for cameras, soft toys and handles, sealing gaskets and so on. Compared to other low volume prototype way Compression Molding process is faster and cheaper

Clear transparent optical parts are mainly made of acrylic PMMA, PC and ABS solid piece via CNC prototyping, or liquid PU material via urethane casting. Automotive lamps, light pipes and decorating parts are normally choose acrylic PMMA highly optical polish while the functional parts with strengthen structures are normally choose PC vapor polished. ABS clear Material is normally for sheet product or square case
